About Me
Hi, I'm Richard — a seasoned UX designer based in Brisbane, passionate about creating inclusive, accessible, and delightful digital experiences.
Boasting a career spanning 20 years across game development in both design and production, as well as user experience in education, retail, and enterprise software, not to mention skills with phyiscal interactive installations, I bring a unique perspective to every project I engage with. My work is grounded in human-centered design principles and a deep appreciation for accessibility.
I believe that good design is not just about making things look beautiful — it's about creating meaningful experiences that solve real problems for real people.

User-Centred
Every design decision starts with understanding user needs, behaviours, and contexts through research and empathy.
Inclusive & Accessible
Design should be accessible to everyone, regardless of ability. Accessibility is not optional—it's essential.
Iterative & Data-Driven
Great design emerges through iteration, testing, and learning from real user feedback and data.
